A striking NEW RELEASE which has a vigorous erect growth habit producing masses of terminal white flower heads in Spring. These flowers can be borne individually or in clusters of 3 or more. Random flower production can occur in Autumn. The large dome shaped flowerheads are a ready source of nectar for birds.

Plant in well drained acidic soils in open sunny position. Once established it becomes a hardy robust small tree.

Stake young plants to avoid wind-rock. It is drought tolerant once established. Prune current years growth after flowering by half to two thirds to enhance flowering the following season.

A great feature specimen plant for general garden beds or rockeries. Also suitable for a large container and is a great cut flower. Flowers can also be used for floral work.

Robust upright growing small tree with terminal pinkish red flowers. Free flowering from mid to late Spring.

Plant in lighter free draining soils. Prune back well once flowering has finished in late Spring early Summer. Water thoroughly once a week in periods of prolonged drought. Stake well if exposed to strong winds when young. Feeding can be done with careful application of a slow release fertiliser.

Makes an excellent specimen plant. Flowers can also be used for floral work.

Telopea Wirrimbirra White


A unique variation of the Waratah which normally produces flowers in shades of red to pinkish tones.

This greeny-white form is regarded in nature as rare, it is more slow growing comparative to red flowering selections.

Waratahs grow well both in full sun or partial sun. Flowers will need protection as they near opening to avoid severe marking of the bracts.

They do well in free draining acidic soils. Will respond to moisture during periods of prolonged dryness. Avoid phosphate fertilisers.

Once established plants make a striking feature plant in the garden.
